Dave Mackay (BCOM, CA) Dave has had an extensive background in auditing in New Zealand with emphasis on the SME and Not for Profit sectors. This experience has been gained through 6 years working for Hayes Knight Audit, one of Auckland’s leading second tier audit & assurance practices, beginning as a junior auditor and progressing to senior audit roles.
After leaving this role he then commenced work as the audit supervisor for another well known Auckland accounting practice.
Dave has rounded his audit experience with 8 years working in the business services / compliance area of an accounting practice based in Kumeu, West Auckland. His interest in audit has remained strong however, and NZ Small Audit was launched in 2008 with a view to provide cost effective audit services to smaller audit clients – typically SME or Not for Profit entities.
Outside work Dave enjoys a variety of outdoor pursuits including trail running, mountain biking, tramping, fishing and hunting.
